New love | The perfect bag

Ich möchte meine Tage ab jetzt bitte damit verbringen, diese neue Tasche anzustarren. Kann man wirklich so begeistert von einem Accessoire sein? Entdeckt habe ich sie bei einem spontanen Ausflug in die Galeries Lafayette. Sie ist von der hauseigenen Marke Lafayette Collection, hat die perfekte Größe, die perfekte Farbe und war mit Kundenkarte (die ich mir natürlich schnell habe machen lassen) auch noch einmal um 40% runtergesetzt. Da brauchte ich noch nicht mal irgendwelche Gründe zu erfinden, weswegen ich sie mir kaufen muss. Also bei 30€ zugeschlagen, über das gesparte Geld gefreut und überglücklich aus dem Laden geschwebt.

I’d like to spend my days staring at this new bag, please. Is it even possible to be this excited about a new accessory? I found it during a spontaneous trip to the Galeries Lafayette. The bag is from the in-house brand „Lafayette Collection“, has the perfect size , the perfect color and it was reduced by 40% with a customer card (which I got real quick, of course). So I did not even have to make up some strange reasons as to why I need this bag in my life. Bought it for 30€, pleased with the money saved, and have been over the moon ever since. 

Ich habe schon lange nach einer Tasche gesucht, die nicht so groß ist. Ich tendiere dann immer dazu, mein halbes Leben mit mir herumzuschleppen (bin mir sicher, dass ich da nicht die Einzige bin!). Das ist nicht nur unnötig, sondern auch recht anstrengend. Aber mein Kriterium war trotzdem immer, dass ich zumindest eine kleine Wasserflasche einstecken kann. Auf alles will ich eben auch nicht verzichten. Nur mit Luft, Liebe und einem Handy übersteht doch keiner den Alltag. Aber diese hier ist perfekt. Ich nehme sie sogar für die Uni, denn auch dort braucht man keine 5 Notizbücher und 10 Textmarker. Und den Rücken wird es auch freuen.

I have long been looking for a smaller sized bag for a while now. I just always have the tendency to carry my entire life around (I’m sure I’m not alone on this one!). This is not only unnecessary but also quite exhausting. But my one criterion was always that it at least fits a small water bottle. I mean, you don’t want to give up on everything. Who can live off air, love and a smartphone? But this one is perfect. I can even take it to university because there you don't need 5 notebooks and 10 highlighters either. And your back will appreciate it as well!
